THEME OF THE DAY: "Women in the Police"

In coordination with the "Policewomen's Network" Association, OBN TV produced a reportage on women in police structures in B&H, which was broadcast yesterday (25/03/2019) within the theme of the day in OBN Info.

In the framework of the reportage, policewomen Biljana Vejnović (Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H), Irfana Kamenjaš (Border Police of B&H) and Sejdina Delibegović (FB&H Judicial Police), members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association spoke about everyday tasks, the challenges of police call, relations with male colleagues and other subjects.
President of the Association, Kristina Jozić, briefly referred to the representation of women in police structures in B&H.

This reportage is a good example of promoting women in police structures on various jobs and tasks and police call in general, in order to break prejudices and stereotypes about the police profession as exclusively male and women as a weaker sex.
