Born August 21,1982 in Sarajevo. She graduated in 2006 at the Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies, and in 2012 she gained the title of a specialist in the field of criminal law at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo.
She began working at the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in 2007, starting within the first class of SIPA cadets. For the past 11 years, she has worked on various tasks within the police body, from a investigator in cases of trafficking in human beings, narcotic drugs and other forms of organized crime, spokeswoman, to the current position of the supervisor.
For a special contribution in the work and achieved results, in 2013 she was awarded the recognition of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina "Silver Police Badge". Also, she was awarded several times for her work within SIPA.
Kristina Jozić has successfully completed the training and is a candidate for the United Nations peacekeeping missions, as well as a number of specialist training courses for the successful performance of tasks within the police body. She is fluent in English and Swedish.
She is one of the founders of the Association "Women Police Officers Network" and from the beginning she is involved in the work of the Association. Has worked as a contact person for gender equality issues in SIPA for four years and has actively been engaged in the promotion of gender equality in private and public life.
An employee of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Federal Police Administration) since 2000. She is currently head of the Department of Analytics of the Federal Investigation Service of the Criminal Police in the rank of senior inspector. In her police career, she gave her greatest contribution while working on the most complex investigations in the field of organized crime in relation to murders and crimes of terrorism, why she was rewarded several times.
Marina Zović, together with policewomen Verica Golijanin (FMUP / FUP), in 2008 was appointed as a representative of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the membership of WPON (Women Police Officers Network of the countries of South-East Europe).
In the same year, an initiative was launched to establish the Association "Women Police Officers Network" in B&H, whose implementation started in 2009. Together with the partners from UNDP, Gender Equality Agency of B&H and policewomen from 15 BH police agencies, later founders, in 2012 the Association was officially registered. By registering the Association, Bosnia and Herzegovina became the first country in the region to implement the initiative, which is largely due to Marine Zovic.
After the foundation, great support to the Association was provided by the representatives of the Gender Equality Agency of B&H, UNDP, Women to Women Association, UN Women, Gender Center FBiH, Association "Legal Assistance to Women" and others.
In her two-year mandate, Marina Zovic successfully implemented the project titled "Fighting Gender-Based Violence" with the support of the US Embassy and the project titled "Be a Policewomen" within the FIGAP program of the Gender Equality Agency of B&H. A number of other activities have also been realized that have contributed to the development and strengthening of the Association.
