The workshop "Strengthening the Professional Competencies of Policewomen" was successfully completed - Term III

On 19.12.2023. in Sarajevo, a workshop on the topic "Strengthening the professional competencies of policewomen - emotional intelligence, management styles and leadership" III term was held, in which policewomen from police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina took part.

The workshop was realized as part of the project "Reducing gender-based discrimination within police structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which is carried out by the Association for Aid and Development "HAJDE" in cooperation with the "Policewomen's Network" Association, with the financial support of the Federal Republic of Germany represented by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This workshop covered topics related to self-confidence and changing beliefs, communication as the key to success, emotional intelligence, and leadership. Then, it was discussed about feminism and the challenges of women in the security sector, as well as the importance of networking and helping each other through mentoring.

At the end of the workshop, participants were presented with certificates of participation.
