The role of the woman in the police force presented through a series of photographs of policewomen on duty

In order to remind on the contribution and the role of women in police work, especially during the state of natural disaster in our country, in the period from 04/07/2020. to 04/17/2020.,  the Association carried out a ten - day campaign entitled "Policewomen in the Service of Citizens", which included daily posts of policewomen on duty on the Association 's Facebook page.

During the ten-day campaign, a total of 70 photographs of policewomen from 13 police agencies were published, namely: Directorates for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Border Police of BiH, State Agency for Investigation and Protection, Federal Police Directorate, Police of Brcko District of BiH, MOI of Sarajevo Canton , Canton of Herzegovina-Neretva, Canton of West Herzegovina, Canton of Posavina, Canton of Zenica-Doboj, Canton of Bosnia-Podrinje, Canton of Una-Sana and the Judicial Police of the Federation BiH.

In particular, we have taken care that the photographs represent policwomen working in various jobs and tasks within police structures and at different levels of decision-making, from lower ranks to managerial officers.

The campaign has attracted a lot of attention from the general public and despite the fact that there was no paid promotion of the announcements, in the last seven days alone the Association's Facebook page received 212 new followers, and there was a significant reach of announcements, as well as a lot of likes and comments of support.

The aim of the campaign was to highlight the contribution and role of women in the police, especially in times of crisis situation, who care about the safety of our citizens, to not forget those who, due to the nature of their work, are not able to "stay home", but on daily basis professionally perform their duties and tasks in the service of the citizens of our country and are exposed, in addition to the regular risks of the police profession, to the risk of infection corona virus.

In addition to pointing out the involvement of policewomen in combating and fighting the virus coronas, this campaign highlighted the courage and solidarity of policewomen and their commitment to the police call, and also urged citizens to stay at home for their own well-being and the well-being of the entire community.

In addition to the great attention that the campaign has attracted on the social network Facebook and the presentation of the police call through a series of photographs and the role of women in the police, the importance of this campaign is reflected in the additional networking of policewomen working in various agencies and cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, and creating stronger relationships and mutual trust.

Kristina Jozic, the president of the Association , expresses her gratitude to the heads of the police agencies who participated in this campaign, because without their support and consent we would not have been able to realize it.
