The Annual Conference of the OSCE Gender Equality Platform was held in Podgorica

President of the "Policewomen's Network" Association, Kristina Jozić, attended the Annual Conference of the members of the of the OSCE Gender Equality Platform in Border Security and Management, which was held in Podgorica (29-30 November, 2022.).

The Annual Conference of members of the OSCE GE Platform on Border Security and Management aims to encourage communication and build valuable contacts among Platform members across the OSCE and beyond, thereby empowering and equipping them to advocate more effectively for gender equality at the border and law enforcement agencies.

The conference also discussed the role of Networks/Women's Associations in the promotion of gender equality in the security sector, and the experiences of countries in the region were shared. The President of the Association, Kristina Jozić, spoke about activities to improve gender equality in the security sector and presented the activities of the PWN Association in this field as examples of good practice.

The conference consisted of plenary sessions with a panel of speakers, followed by interactive discussions.
