Roundtable on the subject "Contribution of women to peacekeeping missions"

A Round Table on the subject "Contribution of Women to Peacekeeping Missions" will be held in Sarajevo on April 5, 2019 (Armed Forces BiH House), organized by Ministry of Security of BiH

The primary goal of holding the Round Table is to motivate and encourage greater responsiveness of women, members of law enforcement agencies in BiH for participating in peacekeeping missions that have not yet participated in them, as well as the exchange of experiences from the missions of policewomen and female soldiers of the Armed Forces of BiH, EUFOR and NATO.

Invitation to participate in the Round Table was submitted to all police agencies, and the deadline for submitting applications to interested candidates is 26/03/2019.

The call states that it is necessary for all nominees to meet certain conditions, such as: a minimum of five years of continuous work experience in the police service, as well as active English or French fluency.
If a sufficient number of officials fulfilling the above conditions does not apply, then interested candidates who do not have five years of work experience will also be considered.

In this regard, we invite interested policewomen to apply for the participation on the Round Table through the competent services of police agencies.
If policewomen are not familiar with the subject matter, they can contact the Association, which will forward the invitation.
