Kristina Jozić, president of the "Policewomen's Network" Association was a guest on "Sunny Morning" on O Kanal. The presence of policewomen in police agencies in BiH, which ranges between five and 15 percent, which is far from the recommended 40 percent, was discussed. It was concluded that policewomen are underrepresented and that something needs to change.

There are almost no policewomen at the decision-making positions, Jozić pointed out. The last ten years have seen a slight increase in the number of policewomen, but this is not enough.

- The position of women in the police is slowly changing, and with their professional engagement they are breaking down prejudices about the police profession as a “male profession” and women as a “weaker sex”. We currently have about 450 policewomen in our association, because we have worked intensively on the expansion of membership for the past 2-3 years, the president of the Association also pointed out.
