Policewomen from B&H attend the World Conference of Women in the Security Sector

Today (February 20, 2019), in Budva, Montenegro, the World Conference of Women in the Security Sector was officially opened. The conference is also attended by the BiH delegation consisting of policewomen from law enforcement agencies in BiH, representatives of the "Policewomen's Network" Association.

The conference was officially opened by the Director of the Police Directorate of Montenegro, Veselin Veljovic, and numerous high officials of Montenegro, as well as OSCE, NATO, DCAF, US Embassy and others welcomed  the Delegations from 19 countries and pointed out the multiple significance of this conference.

The theme of the conference is "How to Promote the Job in the Security Sector and Interest more Women to Perform It and How to Professionally Empower Women For Career Advancement ". Chairwomen of the Association, Kristina Jozić, presented the activities our country is undertaking in this field.

The conference was organized by the International Police Association - the Section of Montenegro, the Union of the Police Directorate of Montenegro and the Association of Policewomen of Montenegro, and represents an exceptional opportunity for additional networking of women in the security sector from all over the world, which is one of the goals of the "Policewomen's Network" Association.
