Members of the Association attending the training "Empowering Women for Civic Participation and Advancing Social Cohesion in Local Communities"

12 Policewomen, members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association, are attending the training on the topic: "Empowering Women for Civic Participation and Advancing Social Cohesion in Local Communities", which is held on November 14 and 15, 2019 at the Hotel " Cardial "in Teslic, in the organization of "Viva Žene" from Tuzla. The training is organized under the Joint Regional Program "Dialogue for the Future: Improving Dialogue and Social Cohesion in, and between, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia ", implemented by UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO, funded by the UN - Peacebuilding Fond (UN PBF).

The aim of this training is to improve women's knowledge of civic participation, leadership, initiation and leadership of civic initiatives, promotion of social justice and decision-making in the community, and further develop skills for advocating for women's rights, building interpersonal trust, overcoming prejudices and respecting diversity in society. The project seeks to contribute to gender equality and women's participation in dialogues and decision-making processes and the development of social cohesion.

The aforementioned training will contribute to empowerment of policewomen and the strengthening of the overall capacities of the Association.
