In the organization by the Cure Foundation, in the period 6-8 April, 2021, a workshop entitled "Integrated Security for Women's Rights Defenders" was held in Tarcin for policewomen, members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association.

Integrated security workshop for women rights defenders was created out of the need for a new way of creating security, as patriarchal norms are rooted and normalized within power structures. Security risks for activists and women defenders of women's rights can be physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually harmful, and permeate every aspect of life.

Therefore, the goal of this training is to empower policewomen to analyze and evaluate their position and situation in order to be able to see the complete picture of the risks they face, to build response strategies and deal with risks.

The overall goal is to empower human rights defenders by working on security and self-sustainability by raising awareness of the importance of security of human rights defenders and developing the capacity of the women's movement in BiH in relation to security and self-sustainability.

The workshop was financially supported by the organization "Global Fund for Women".
