Meeting of coordinators with members and potential members of the Association - DKPT B&H
A meeting of coordinators with members and potential members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association was held in Sarajevo today (February 20, 2020) in the official premises of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of B&H.
This is a regular annual meeting of the Association at the level of the police body, which presented activities for the past and plans for the current year. The meeting was also used for new members to get acquainted with the goals and mission of the Association, as well as modes of work and activities.
The introductory part of the meeting was attended by the Chairwomen of the Association, Kristina Jozić, who thanked the representative of the leadership of the DKPT B&H for the support that the leadership continuously provides to the Association. Addressing the meeting participants, she recalled that the goal and mission of the Association is to raise awareness of gender equality in police structures in BiH, and to integrate gender issues into all areas of police work. She also stressed that the Association is committed to equal rights and responsibilities, and accordingly to promotion to a higher position.
The meeting discussed the importance of networking of policewomen, both at the level of the DKPT and police structures at all levels in B&H, opportunities to apply to various projects to expand the activities of the Association, and greater engagement of policewomen within the Association.
