Kristina Jozić: Being a police officer is not an exclusively male job

In the edition of "Dnevni avaz" dated 8/12/2018, the Chairwomen of the Association, Kristina Jozić, answered 20 questions in the addition "Week".

When asked by journalist how their colleagues are looking at the work of the Association and what are their reactions, Kristina Jozić replied:

"Sincerely to be, colleagues who do not know much about our work observe us with a degree of skepticism and it happens that they" think "that we are a sect who works against them, which, of course, is far from the truth. Those who are interested in our work, soon realize that this is an Association that is engaged in promoting gender equality and democratic principles in the work of the police. In this sense, the rights of men and women are equally discussed, and our activities are, in fact, oriented in the building of more efficient police authorities, able to respond to the security needs of all citizens, men and women, boys and girls. Here, in fact, it is about building the capacity of police agencies, which need to be an effective service to all citizens."

The Chairwomen of the Association also pointed out that one of the goals of the Association is to break the stereotypes and prejudices about the police profession as an exclusively male.
