Ilijaš hosted a program titled "Do we value the same?"

On the occasion of marking the International Women's Day, TPO Foundation in cooperation with Ilijas Municipality organized on March 7, an event named "Do we value the same?".

The event was held at Alija Izetbegović Square in Ilijas, and was organized at the initiative of a high school student from Ilijaš Indira Smajlović. In order to reassure all those who think that woman should be silent and suffering and that her voice should not be heard, she decided to devise the mentioned program aimed at recalling all the economic, political and social achievements of women throughout history, but also to ask the question "Do we value the same?"

Although women have the same rights as men, in practice, cultural and normative norms that prevent women from exercising guaranteed rights still dominate, which was discussed in the subject program.

The program was supported by the Ministry of Security of BiH and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a number of female soldiers, as well as policewomen from law enforcement agencies in BiH, members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association participated.
