Cooperation with policewomen from Great Britain

The secretary of the Association "Policewomen's Network" Association" Marina Zović met on 28. February, 2019, in Sarajevo, with the representative of the British Association for Women and Policing (BAWP) Michel Lavmour, who was on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting, in front of the NI-CO team, was joined by Mark McDowell, who also resides in our coutry in order to implement the ILP project supported by the UK Government.

The meeting discussed the activities of partner associations in the field of gender equality in the security sector, and exchanged experiences in this area, with a special focus on empowering policewomen  and strengthening their position.

Both sides expressed interest in future cooperation and agreed framework activities on the realization of common goals, within which the UK policewomen would provide expert support to the "Policewomen's Network".
