Chairwomen of the Association for ALFA TV: Our goal is to increase the number of women in police structures

Chairwomen of the Association was guest in the TV show "Today" on ALFA TV. 

Kristina Jozić spoke about the establishment of the Association's website, as well as about the overall mission and goals of the Association in the field of promoting gender equality in police structures in BiH.

"The website will contribute to informing all members of the Association about current activities and increasing transparency of work. The newly established website also contains an electronic support form for police officers, with special emphasis on providing support and necessary information in cases of suspicion of exposure to discrimination at work a place with a focus on gender discrimination, said Kristina Jozić. 

She said that the special focus of the Association's work on taking action with the aim of increasing the number of women in police structures in general.

"Since there are almost no women in leading positions in police structures at all levels in B&H, or there are only 0.50 percent of them, all our efforts will be directed at empowering women and increasing the number in senior and leadership positions, Jozić pointed out.
