Staying Safe - Security Network for Human Rights Defenders and Gender-Based Violence Activist in BiH (2017-2018)

The project "Staying Safe - Security Network for Human Rights Defenders and Gender-Based Violence Activist in BiH" was conducted in partnership with the Foundation for Local Democracy, with the financial support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The goal of the project is to provide a systematic response to the violation of the rights of human rights defenders, which will ensure their better position, a safer environment and greater visibility. The target groups of the project are CSOs active in the field of protection and promotion of human rights, human rights defenders / activists against gender-based violence and others (police officers, representatives of various media and relevant BiH institutions in charge of human rights protection).

Within this project, the Association conducted a research titled "Human Rights Defender in Police Structures in BiH - Mechanisms for the Protection against Discrimination", which will be the basis for further action of the Association in the field of protection against discrimination, and the website of the association was established.
