Fighting gender-based violence

The project titled "Fighting Gender-Based Violence" was realized with the support of the US Embassy (2012).

Within this project, trainings were organized for policewomen in order to empower them, as well as in the area of gender-based violence and manuals for treatment have been developed. With the help of experts, an analysis of the existing legal framework related to police officers from the aspect of gender equality was carried out, with a proposal for amendments to the law.
