Workshop "Improving the position of women in the customs sector - III"

A two-day workshop on "Improving the position of women in the customs sector", organized by UNDP and UNODC, started today (December 8, 2021) in Teslić. The conference was organized within the project Prevention of Illicit Trafficking in Arms (HALT).

Having in mind the experience of the "Policwwomen's Network" Association in terms of organization and institutional activities, members of the Association presented their experiences in networking women in the security sector and positive practices in promoting gender equality and thus provided support to colleagues. This is the first workshop of this type for customs employees. This activity aims to strengthen the promotion of gender equality in the BiH customs service through the organization of workshops aimed at the affirmation of women in this sector.
