4th Conference of the  Policewomen Network of the Republic of Serbia entitled "The Power and Influence of Women in the Security Sector"

Representatives of the "Policewomen's Network" Association in the 4th Conference of the  Policewomen Network of the Republic of Serbia entitled "The Power and Influence of Women in the Security Sector" and the meeting of the Steering Board of the European Network of  Policewomen - ENP (27-28.11.2025).

 

The conference was attended by representatives of the International Association of Women in Police (IAWP), the European Network of Policewomen (ENP), as well as representatives of the police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia and Slovenia.

The "Policewomen's Network" Association was represented by policewomen Kristina Jozić, also a member of the Board of Directors of the European Network of Policewomen. She spoke about the role and importance of women in modern police structures, with special emphasis on the global and regional context.

This is a high-level conference, opened by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Đuro Macut, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić.

The participation of representatives from B&H was supported by UNDP BiH, through the project “Enhancing the Capacities of Law Enforcement Agencies in the Field of Small Arms and Light Weapons” (LEAD), within which a number of activities have been implemented in the previous period.
