A workshop was held in Konjic on the topic "Gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace - investigation and evidence"

On October 2 and 3, 2025, a workshop was held in Konjic on the topic "Gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace - investigation and evidence", as part of the #GESOSSBiH initiative funded by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop participants, police officers and employees from the internal control department, had the opportunity to learn about the key concepts of sex and gender, stereotypes and prejudices, and the state of gender equality in police structures in BiH.

The area of gender-based discrimination in the workplace was specifically addressed, with a focus on sexual harassment and gender-based harassment, protection mechanisms, and investigation and evidence procedures through interactive sessions and group work.

Most participants pointed out that they had not had the opportunity to attend workshops on this topic before, which further confirms the importance of its implementation.

The workshop was organized in partnership with the Center for Security Studies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the "Policewomen's Network" Association.
