Workshop entitled "Improving the position of women in the customs sector"

From  22 to 24 June, 2021, a workshop on "Improving the position of women in the customs sector" was held in Banja Luka, organized by UNDP and UNODC. The workshop was organized within the HALT project.

Having in mind the experience of the "Policwwomen's Network" Association in terms of organization and institutional activities, members of the Association presented their experiences in networking women in the security sector and positive practices in promoting gender equality and thus provided support to colleagues. This is the first workshop of this type for customs employees. This activity aims to strengthen the promotion of gender equality in the BiH customs service through the organization of workshops aimed at the affirmation of women in this sector.
