The third meeting of the policewomen's associations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia was held in Neum
Members of "Policewomen's Network" Association attended the third meeting of the policewomen's associations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, which was held from September 29 to October 1, 2025 in Neum.
The meeting was dedicated to incorporating a gender perspective into small arms and light weapons (SALW) control policies.
During the three-day meeting, participants discussed strengthening the capacity of associations, exchanged experiences in implementing gender-sensitive programs, and explored possibilities for joint initiatives that contribute to the implementation of the Roadmap for a Sustainable Solution to Combat the Illicit Possession, Abuse, and Trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons, Their Ammunition and Explosives in the Western Balkans by 2030.
The meeting was organized with the support of the projects "Enhancing the Capacity of Law Enforcement Agencies in the Field of Small Arms and Light Weapons" (LEAD), implemented by #UNDPBiH and "Reduce Risk - Increase Security III" implemented by UNDP Serbia, with the support of the European Union.
