Policewomen provided 300 presents for children without parental care

The "Policewomen's Network" Association  is conducting a humanitarian action in which policewomen from police agencies throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina are participating, who have provided 300 presents for children without parental care.

The children wrote letters to "Santa Claus", which is their wish for the upcoming holidays and each policewomen received one letter and lovingly fulfilled the wish of the child. The children are delighted that this year their wishes will be fulfilled by the policewomen.

The President of the Association, Kristina Jozić, and the policewomen Martina Milas, today (December 22, 2020) delivered gifts for children housed in the Home for Children without Parental Care "John Paul II" - Vionica, Medjugorje, followed by the delivery of presents to children in Mother's Village in Medjugorje, the Association of Happiness Corner - an association of persons with disabilities in ZZH and the Public Institution Children's Home Mostar.

The initiative was initiated by policewomen Martina Milas, an active member of the Association from the MOI of the West Herzegovina Canton, and policewomen from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, State Investigation and Protection Agency-SIPA, BiH Border Police, Federal Police Administration, The Police of the Brčko District of BiH, the Judicial Police of the FBiH, the MUP of the West Herzegovina Canton, the MUP of the Central Bosnia Canton, the MUP of the Posavina Canton, the MUP of Canton 10 and the MUP of Tuzla Canton responded. Members of the Special Police of the Ministry of the Interior of the West Herzegovina Canton, as well as employees of the Vrazovo Health Center in Sarajevo, also joined the action.

We are proud that through this action we managed to cheer up 300 children in need and show the humane side of the police, which will, among other things, contribute to increasing children's trust in police structures and creating a partnership.
