NOVA BH TV: MATEA MILICEVIC – SPECIAL POLICE FORCES

In coordination with "Policewomen's Network" Association, NOVA BH TV made an edition about policewomen Matea Milicevic - a Member of the Special Police Unit of the Directorate of Federal Police, who is also a member of the Association, which was published in Daily News „Dnevnik NOVE BH“ yesterday (23/06/2019).

Matea Milicevic, one of two policewoman in Special Police Unit (SPU), talked about motives and inspiration to join SPU, everyday jobs and tasks as well as challenges of police profession. The crew of Nova BH TV had a chance to capture Matea while she was preparing to operative engagement, and to witness different exercises.

This TV edition contributes to process of breaking prejudices and stereotypes about the police profession as exclusively male and female as a weaker sex, as the chairwomen of Association Kristina Jozic pointed out in extend of this TV edition.
Today we have significant number of police women in police structures, on every level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which performs most difficult police tasks with success, and “brakes” stereotypes with their everyday results and professional appearance. Matea Milicevic is one of those policewomen!
