Members of the Association attended the Conference "International Integration of Gender Equality in the Police of the Countries of the Region

In the period from 31.October to 02. November, 2019 Conference on "International Integration of Gender Equality in the Police of the Countries of the Region" was held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, as a part of the implementation of the project "Developing a Gender Agenda in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia" organized by the Swedish Police (Belgrade Office) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. The Conference was attended by members of the "Policewomen's  Network" Association Marina Zovic and Elmedina Ahmethodzic.

The topics of the Conference were the development of the gender agenda in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Guidelines for implementation of measures for the realization of gender equality, Gender coaching program (presentation of a model of high-level executives in the Police Directorate), presentation of the work and activities of the Women's Network in the police of Serbia, presentation of work and activities of European Policewomen's Network (ENP), Swedish Police experience in gender mainstreaming, etc.

In addition to the topics discussed above, the Conference hosted a Panel Discussion on the experiences and examples of good police practices in the countries of the region in the institutional integration of equal opportunity policies, in which members of the Association participated.
