Meeting with the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Development - AEPTM Vujević Marko

Yesterday (April 14, 2022) in Mostar, a meeting was held with the director of the Agency for Education and Professional Development of AEPTM, Marko Vujević, which was attended by the President of the "Policewomen's Network" Association", Kristina Jozić, and active member, Majla Ćosić.

The modalities of future cooperation in the field of organizing specialist training for police officers of state police agencies on gender equality and gender-based discrimination in the workplace were discussed at the meeting.

Having in mind that policewomen are underrepresented in police bodies at all levels in BiH, especially in senior and managerial positions, and the fact that a high dark number of cases of genderbased discrimination was recorded, both sides concluded that it is necessary to institutionalize training on this topic. In this field, the experience and expertise of the "Policewomen's Network" Association in the implementation of a large number of trainings on this topic will be used.
In order to implement this initiative, a working group was appointed consisting of representatives of the "Policewomen's Network" Association and AEPTM, who began work on the development of the curriculum.
