16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
The "Policewomen's Network" Association joined this year International campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence". November 25 is declared as the International Day against Violence against Women, all over the world.
Members of the "Policewomen's Network" Association from MOI of Canton 10 organized a series of activities with the aim of raising awareness about this problem. In the area of Livno, they organized an info desk, where they distributed information leaflets and talked to citizens about gender-based violence in order to raise awareness of all forms of violence against women and girls, and to encourage victims to turn to the competent authorities for help.
They also held a lecture in an elementary school where they updated this issue with the youngest citizens. Representatives of the Association from the Judicial Police of FBiH also joined these activities.
The aforementioned activities were also used to promote women in police work and the Association's activism, especially in the context of responding to cases of violence against women, where their role comes to the fore.
Activities of this type will be continued in the coming period, within which the focus will be on secondary schools.
The Association's activities were also discussed in The report of the Federation Today, Federal Television from 09.12. 2022, which you can see at the link below:
